BW FUSION PROPOSAL
Project Overview
Thank you for the opportunity to create a production proposal for your product video. In this proposal we will be painting with broad strokes to capture the concepting/scripting phase through to production and final post. We will have a number of opportunities to address scope throughout the process as we look at the best ways to align production value to the concept and ultimately the goals that we will achieve.
The BW Fusion product is a challenging product to display due to its dust-like composition. At this stage we are proposing a number of techniques to help viewers understand the product, the science behind the product, its application and the results customers can experience. In this proposal we will look at a mix of existing footage from BW’s content library, new footage that can be captured during the down season as farmers are considering their planting strategies for the upcoming season, and a studio shoot using a high speed camera and robotic motion control system to help freeze the product in place and illustrate it’s application. Additionally, we intend to use animation and 3D modeling to visually engage the audience, create excitement around the product and illustrate the science behind BW Fusion.
As part of our creative development, we’ll work closely with the BW creative team to stay aligned with the brand and brand messaging while seeking opportunities to find inventive ways to illustrate a challenging product to visualize.
Proposed Scope By Phase
Concepting and Script Development: $8,000
We’ll work with BW Fusion creatives to build a script, moodboards and storyboard. Messaging, production techniques and our overall visual design will be established in this phase.
Pre-Production: $10,000
PUNCH will work with BW to build our shot list, acquire existing assets, plan for footage capture, secure locations, build and design studio sets and effects and build skeletal level 3D models and rough animation. We will also build out our production calendar and mile markers.
Production: $30,000
The current estimate assumes a production phase that includes location shooting, possibly with drone, a Phantom Camera based high speed studio shoot with our Bolt motion control robot, 3D modeling and animation, and 2D animation. Additionally voice over and music selections will be produced in this phase. Currently we are assuming royalty free library music in this budget, but custom music can be quoted as an option.
Post Production: $20,000
Final editing, audio mix, compositing and color correction. We’ll also create archives and backups as well as final deliverables in a mix of formats for modern playback platforms
We’ve estimated the scope of this production based on a best guess. It is challenging to build tight budgets and conservative estimates prior to the script and concept phase. We are always open to ways to best shape this production to align the visual impact and messaging strength to your ultimate Return on Investment Goals.
